All horses must wear a leather or nylon halter for travelling if tied in the trailer, rope halters may be worn underneath for loading/unloading.

FAQ

Feed

Horses must be supplied with sufficient hay in a net for the expected duration of the trip. We carry extra local hay that we will offer in cases where there is a significant unexpected delay.

FAQ

Boots/Wraps

If you wish your horse to wear shipping boots or wraps, the horse must be familiar and comfortable with wearing them while trailering, and they must be in place when we arrive for loading.

We take no responsibility for injury caused to horses by ill-fitting or improperly applied boots/wraps.

FAQ

Bedding

CLT regulations require that each horse have sufficient bedding. We bed our trailers with with wood shavings: you may supply an alternate suitable bedding if you wish.

Please discuss this with us at the time of booking.
